Coaching

As a coach my role is to be a collaborative partner helping you to unlock your potential. I do this by working with you on a confidential basis and drawing on my many years of coaching experience in the workplace, particularly the public sector.

I offer individual coaching sessions of up to one and a half hours usually for a short-term, fixed period. I also work with groups, for example I facilitate action learning sets for small groups. Please contact me for more details.

Coaching is usually focused on goals that you bring with you to work on. These goals may be about your career, your performance at work, your personal development or goals for what you wish to aim for in your life.

I have worked with clients on their career development, including those seeking new roles and tackling new challenges. I have helped clients experiencing workplace issues such as transition and organisational change. I can also help you if you are affected by bullying in the workplace or having difficulties with your working relationships.

I use my counselling skills to enhance my coaching skills however unlike counselling, coaching tends to be less focused on emotions. Similar principles apply and I work within the values and personal qualities demanded by the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) Coaching division.
